Joyce Thompson is a Master Level Counselor licensed by the state of South Carolina, with a passion for helping individuals and families thrive. She is employed at She’s Counseling Trichology and Consulting LLC, where she has been an integral part of the team since 2015.

Joyce holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Benedict College in Columbia, SC, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. In addition to her counseling credentials, she is a Certified Phlebotomist and a Registered Behavioral Technician currently pursuing advanced RBT certification.

With years of experience working with children, adolescents, veterans, and families, Joyce is especially skilled in supporting service members and their families through the challenges of trauma and separation. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, pregnancy and postpartum transitions, Autism, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and trauma.

Joyce utilizes a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Reality-Based Therapy, and psychoeducation, tailoring her methods to meet each client’s unique needs. She looks forward to continuing to walk alongside clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
